42岁的乔治森是今年夏天曼联教练组的新成员，他从挪威球队利勒斯特罗姆加盟曼联，自今年1月以来他一直担任该队的主教练。乔治森之前曾在他的家乡瑞典的马尔默担任过一段时间的临时主教练，他在英格兰有丰富的执教经验，曾在布伦特福德、阿森纳和南安普顿工作过。
